Mr. Hatem Bamatraf

CTO, Etisalat Group and Chairman of the Board

Hatem started his professional career with etisalat in 1995 as part of the GSM Mobile System Planning team under Head Office. He was responsible for planning and optimization of the Northern Emirates region, where he played a major role in building the Mobile Network and maintaining excellent network performance which positioned etisalat as one of the leading mobile networks in the region.

In 2004, Hatem was seconded to Mobily’s launch team as Director Mobile Network Development in the Central Region, KSA. In this capacity he was responsible of all Mobile Network activities from planning, implementation, and operations. He successfully played a major role in launching a commercial network within 6 months period; which was a remarkable achievement by all means and considered to be one of the fastest telecom launches in the world.

After the completion of his international assignment with Mobily, he decided to explore a new challenging career opportunity and joined du in 2007 as Sr. Vice President Network Development based in Dubai, where he was responsible of Fixed and Mobile Network Development. Hatem’s experience has helped du to build its Mobile Network in a very short period of time and modernize its Fixed Network to the latest technologies.

In 2011, he was given the operation function in addition to his responsibilities as Executive Vice President Network Development and Operation. During this time he managed the transition of the Network Operation to a Managed Service model and successfully launched LTE with 1800 MHZ band.

Late in 2012, he moved to head the Enterprise function at du and became Executive Vice President Enterprise Business leading a large team of Sales, Marketing, Broadcasting and DATAMENA to meet the business targets of the company. He built the foundation of the Enterprise Business division from process, culture, focus and strategy.

Hatem is a graduate of Etisalat College of Engineering, Sharjah and hold a Bachelor degree of Engineering in Communication with 2nd Class Honors. He was also awarded by the Global Telecom Business as one of the 40 under 40 telecom leaders in the world.

Mr.Abdulla Hashim

SVP, Digital Services, Etisalat and Director of the Board

Abdulla Hashim is Senior Vice President of the Digital Services business for enterprise and public sectors at Etisalat. Since joining Etisalat in 1989, Abdulla has held a variety of leadership roles in Engineering, Business Development and Sales.

As SVP Digital Services, he has made the Etisalat Digital Services division a strategic business partner, producing significant business value for Etisalat in the form of financial performance, customer satisfaction and loyalty, market share, and productivity. At Digital Services division, he is leading the strategy for how best to manage and orchestrate the delivery of the new business technology services for customers.

His extensive understanding of business operations, infrastructure, and sales as well as his knowledge of ICT products and services helps him advance Etisalat business through the use of telecommunication technology.

Abdulla has a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida, USA. He also serves as a Board Member of Smartworld, a Joint Venture between Etisalat and Dubai World Central.

Mr. Sabri Ali Yahya,

CIO,Etisalat and Director of the Board

SabriYahya is the Chief Information Officer of Etisalat with over 18 years of experience in telecommunications and information technology.

As CIO of Etisalat, Sabri is accountable for applications development, infrastructure and operations of all IT functions in Etisalat UAE, including Customer Relationship Management, Service Fulfillment, Revenue Management, Analytics, Enterprise Resource Planning and IT Service Management.

Sabri started his career with Etisalat in 1995 as a graduate trainee in the engineering department were he attained firsthand experience and in-depth knowledge of fixed and mobile networks as well as intelligent networks and value added services. From 2001 through 2006, Sabri held various managerial positions in the area of network operations, network planning, provisioning and mediation and applications development.

In 2006, Sabri was appointed CIO of Etisalat's green-field operations in Egypt where he contributed to Etisalat becoming a dominant player in a highly competitive market. While in Etisalat Egypt, Sabri oversaw the implementation of state of the art real time convergent charging and billing solution that was combined with advanced analytics and customer management applications to drive product innovation and improve the overall customer experience.

Sabri holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Digital Electronics and Master of Science degree in Communication Systems Engineering from the University of Kent, UK.>

Mr. Govinda Raj

Company Secretary and Director of the Board

Govinda Raj has over 12 years of experience with a proven record of successful Corporate Strategy, Finance & Business Operations.

He started his career as a management trainee in premier Ventures Capital Company. After completion of his degrees, he worked for a US based MNC as a “Company Secretary and Finance manager” where he was responsible for legal, taxation & MIS. He also successfully completed six sigma charters.

Laterhe worked for an UK based Online Marketing Company. As a Company Secretary & Sr. Manager Corporate services, he was responsible for Finance, MIS, Corporate strategy & Process excellence. As a Management Representative, he played an important role in getting the ISO certification for his Organization, one of the early companies in online space to get the certification.

He has been associated with Etisalat Software Solution Pvt Ltd for more than 6 years. He joined ESSPL as a “Finance Manager & Company Secretary” and then got promoted as “Director - Finance & HRA”. He was responsible for Finance, HR, Admin& Legal. From January 2014, he is continuing as a Company Secretary. He runs his Investment Banking Venture from Bangalore.

He is passionate about encouraging Entrepreneurship. He has contributed to the growth of many organizations across varied organizations ranging from Venture Capital, Manufacturing, Online Marketing & IT Industry.

Govinda Raj is a Chartered Accountant & a Company Secretary. He is also Certified Six Sigma Green Belt Champion.

Mr. Muammar Al Rukhaimi is Chief Executive Officer of technologia™. Before being named CEO on September 30th 2014, Mr. Muammar held leadership roles in Etisalat , various International Projects and has been a dedicated leader with a passion for creating value and generating growth .As Technologia CEO Mr. Muammar brings a relentless drive for innovation and a spirit of collaboration to the role.

Mr. Muammar was born in 1973 and holds a Bachelor of Engineering -Telecom degree from Etisalat College of Engineering.
